After watching the persuasive television commercial with a former science fiction television series star proclaiming just how cheap travel can really be, you might find yourself on the Internet testing the virtual waters. Unfortunately, while originally you might have intended to visit the website of the business your sci-fi actor was talking about, you soon find yourself getting side tracked into checking out other site and deals, and before long you will be amazed that travel deals on the ‘Net are indeed not only cheap but usually feature rich and amazingly desirable!
Even as you celebrate your delving into the world of online travel reservations, there is a little voice in the back of your mind warning you that deals which sound too good to be true usually leave something to be desired, yet instead of pulling back and steering your search to the more well known sites, you continue to dig deeper and deeper and land on a good many sites advocating steals and deals – even though the names of the businesses are unknown to you.
A closer look at Internet travel scams reveals that it is now that the eager web surfer will be at the highest risk of falling for one of the many ruthless campaigns currently being marketed online. A site with an impossibly long link nonetheless features a well known name and logo. Travel deals closely mirror that of the original site with the company’s genuine name and web address. Being somewhat web savvy, you figure that this is the site of an affiliate and even as you are getting ready to go back to the original site, you notice that here the deals are even better than they are at the original merchant site. Dig down a little deeper and you will find the affiliate agent’s assertion that in desperation to make a deal, she or he will comp you part of their commission or offer you the deal at an employee discount. Stay away from these practices. They are not only unethical within the industry but hardly ever genuine. Furthermore, if the deal is made from a third party, you may have no recourse if problems arise and the affiliate will be long gone!
Conversely, a travel agency with a name you never heard of is offering deals that are steals. Having numerous confidence inspiring banners on their sites, such as the ones from the Better Business Bureau and others, you may believe that you are safe. Unfortunately, this is a mistake since anyone can cut and paste an image from another website, even if this is done fraudulently. Unless you can verify with the BBB that the company is actually a member, there is no reason to assume the logo on their website is genuine. Similarly, reviews, press releases, and testimonials do not have to be genuine. Caution should always be exercised, and the more amazing the deal, the more caution there should be.
At this point in time the travel industry is one with the most complaints currently found on the ‘Net and a closer look at Internet travel scams reveals that the number of fraudulent agents, former members of travel agencies who are going it alone, and downright scam artists currently operating have maligned the good name of the trade in general.

One of the most important things about starting up an MLM home based business is making a business plan and then sticking to it. You might think that the business speaks for itself and you might think that you don’t need a business plan in order to make your point known or to get customers or people to invest. However, there are several important reasons that you need an MLM home based business plan in order to make sure that you can get your business off to a good start.
First of all, you need a good home based business plan simply because there are lots of MLM businesses that are out there right now. For one thing, this is a good way to have competition and to be able to take care of this competition. However, this can also be a problem because if you aren’t able to make yourself stand out from the crowd you will find that you are not at the top of the competition. One of the best ways that you can stand out in the crowd is by making sure that your business plan shows you exactly what you plan on doing and how you are going to do it. This is one of the most important parts of making sure your home based MLM business works well.
Your business plan is also important for another reason. There are simply too many types of MLMs out there, and some of them aren’t very good. Lots of people use the lure of MLM home based businesses to get people to join with them, even if their own MLM isn’t on a right track. In fact, many scams use the lure of an MLM and it is these scams that you want to avoid being associated with. The best way to prove that you have what it takes and to avoid running into trouble is to make sure that you are able to provide your customers and your investors with a good business plan that will show them that you are legit and that you intend on making it big and taking them with you. This is the best thing that you can do for your MLM and it is the best way to make sure that you rise to the top.
Also, you want to remember that as you run your MLM home based business, you want to be sure that you are doing everything by the books. The internet is a great place to talk about yourself and to get your name out there, but remember that if you aren’t doing things correctly and are making mistakes, there are going to be a lot of people out there in cyberspace that are aware of it. You have to be sure that you are doing everything in the right way, and therefore that the contacts you are making can believe in you and trust what you are doing. This is the best way to make yourself into a success.

When going into any form of home business, you must understand that it takes hard work and motivation to build a successful and gratifying business. A home business owner is like any other business entrepreneur in that you must take all of your focus and apply that to the business in order to begin on the right track.
You have to view your business as a whole and not just the portion of the business that allows you more personal time. If you concentrate on only one aspect such as personal time or freedom, you will quickly loose the main focus and you put your home business at risk.
It’s true that with a home business you are allotted more time for personal days or flexible business hours. Though this is one of the many benefits of a home business, this should not be a distraction that could easily lead you to “slack off”. You can give yourself time away from your business to relax and refocus, as long as it is not made into an unnecessary bad habit.
In order to achieve business success and personal time freedom you should set goals. A goal including an hourly time set for each area. This allows you to balance out your personal time and business time so you can prevent any one area from receiving more attention than the other.

I thought these tips would help you to find a business that is right for you and to filter through all the crud out there. I am so tired of what some people have done to this industry. There are good opportunities out there.
1. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. No, you cannot make money while you sleep or rake in a six figure salary working three
hours a day in as little as two months.
2. All the marketing information you need to learn is available online for free. There is no need to buy an e-book or subscribe to a
service that promises to share with you the secret to online success – as a matter of fact, there is no secret to online success!
3. If the website advertising the scheme looks unprofessional, the person you will be dealing with also will be. Remember that each
online entrepreneur with a website is not only selling their product and business but also in a very real sense themselves by way
of establishing authority and credibility. If the website you are visiting is plagued with spelling errors, mistaken information, and
facts that cannot be checked, then this is the kind of individual with whom you will end up doing business as a down line rep.
4. Any product that is advertised on a website which seems to ramble on endlessly in a variety of differing fonts about how great
the opportunity and the product are is probably a scam.
5. Any website that posts images of checks allegedly earned by the marketer who is looking for a down line is probably faked and
thus represents a scam.
6. Millionaires do not advertise on the ‘Net in broken English looking for entrepreneurs to learn their business and thus pass on their
business secrets. This is a scam.
7. Products which are faddish by nature may not be scams, but they have no future. These kinds of products usually are weight
loss related, although sometimes they may also fall into the service sector, such as mortgage loan consultant.
8. If you have to invest money prior to being able to explore the business opportunity and research it to your heart’s content,
proceed with extreme caution. Although it has been said that some legitimate businesses operate that way, the vast majority will
not require such a financial commitment and risk on the part of the entrepreneur.
9. When signing up for a multi level marketing opportunity you will most likely be required to purchase a starter kit that contains
your samples and other materials. Yet you should not be required to keep a certain amount of inventory on hand. In other words,
if you are asked to buy $100 or $1,000 in inventory, you may be getting scammed.
10. Last but not least, if anything sounds fishy, proceed with extreme care!

I was involved with Wealth Masters International (WMI) about a year ago when I first got involved in this industry. I was looking for a lucrative online business that was legitimate and I could truly make at least $94,000/yr (what I was making at the time as a Director of Nursing services in the hospital). This opportunity came around and I was really excited.
My mentor seemed like he was wanting to help, but I don’t think he was a good teacher, or had been told not to give all the info away. It seemed that everyone “above” me had all the answers and was doing just great, but when they would “explain” things, it was only part of what you needed to succeed, not the whole story.
I was told to do article marketing, press releases, and Craig’s list (what the heck is this and exactly how do I do it?) and in the meantime, learn how to do google adwords, but don’t actually get going with a campaign until you know what you’re doing. Well how do I know when that is? I was totally overwhelmed and lost with the lack of direction or the lack of instruction on how to do these things I was being told to do. I looked for resources to learn how to do these things and I finally just gave up after spending a small fortune and going thousands of dollars into debt.
WMI sells a product that is made up of several products, most of which nobody will use and the product, if sold by itself, would not sell without someone explaining it to you. That was the first HUGE lesson I learned: If you are going to sell something, make sure that if it stood on it’s own people would buy it (without someone having to push it).
WMI also has a level 2 & 3 that are more expensive where you go to a resort twice a year to get the “insider” information and how to invest money that only “insiders” have access to. This is where they really make their money. Well I didn’t have $8500 just laying around to do this and I am sure most people like us don’t.
The second thing that I learned was to make sure that your “mentor” has a personal interest in your success, that they only make money if you make money. Not have some ‘elite’ convention that only people with a lot of money can afford to go to and learn special money making initiatives that the “lower echelon” don’t have privy to.
In a nutshell, that was my experience with WMI, but it brought me to learn so many things on my own, unfortunately I lost a ton of money learning, but you can learn from my mistake.
During my long journey of learning, I did find a business that actually exposes the lies in the home business opportunity industry with A FREE E-Book and gives you tons of education (videos, audios, examples, etc) of exactly how to market your business, your product is definitely stand alone (it’s a 7 million dollar business), and your mentor does not get paid unless you do! No STUPID upper echelon conventions that YOU can’t afford!

Hey everyone,
My name is Julie. I am a Registered Nurse and have been for 14 years. I broke my back about 3 1/2 years ago and have realized that my nursing career will not last forever due to the physical demands of the job.
I really wanted to stay home with my kids and be there for them instead of driving 2 hours a day to a job that didn’t allow me much time at all with my family. So I started looking into a real business that I could make good money at and help people at the same time.
I have been trying to make a go of a business online for over a year now. I have had some success with affiilate marketing, but every time I have tried to make a go of a real lucrative business, I just couldn’t get it off the ground.
I have spent well over $15,000 investing money (this of course doesn’t include the cost of my time!) into supposedly “real” business opportunities that have left me high and dry telling you to put up google ads, that by the way cost you an arm and leg. If you don’t have the right background and education to do this, you are pretty much SOL unless you get lucky with a few keywords that pull in the ‘right’ people who are ready to buy.
In this period of time, I have come to learn so much-on my own of course-because your so-called ‘mentors’ in these businesses don’t really help you at all, they just give you what they have tried that really doesn’t work and is being used by so many people that you have so much competition it’s impossible to make any money.
But I am proud to say that I have finally come across an opportunity called Truth To Wealth that truly is amazing and the people are more than willing to help and they give so many educational offerings it is just phenominal. They actually give you the tools you need to get your business up an running within 24 hours or less if you have some background knowledge of what you are doing. You can have things up and running in a few days if you have no background!
Truth to Wealth has a back office with just a huge amount of help for you. They help everyone at any stage in their knowledge of setting up an internet business and they also give you the tools to market your business as well! I just can’t say enough about Truth To Wealth, it has been my saving grace!
I will continue to write about Truth To Wealth and update you about the exciting new things they have coming out. This business is a 7 billion dollar business, is very stable and has been around for many years! Check it out!
